Found a place? Register it before you tour.
Tell us the community before you visit, call or apply. We let the leasing office know you’re with us, check the price and specials, and tell you in writing whether the community participates and what your reward is.
Found it yourself? At participating communities, registering with us first gets you 3 hours of moving or $400 cash ($200 cash under $1,200 rent), on a lease of 12 months or more.

What happens next
01 · We check the community
Whether it works with locators, and whether you’re already registered there by someone else.
02 · We let them know
A licensed agent sends your registration to the leasing office before your visit, so AptViva goes on your guest card.
03 · You get the facts
Price and specials, the application rules, and whether the move or cash applies, all in writing. Restrictions apply. See terms
04 · You tour
At the visit, write AptViva on the guest card. Ask the leasing agent to confirm it.
05 · You apply and move
Name AptViva on the application too, and report your lease within 30 days of moving in.
Before you register
If you already toured or applied there, the community may not count us as your locator. Tell us anyway and we’ll check.
Some communities don’t work with locators. If yours doesn’t, we tell you, and you can still rent it on your own.

Why it’s free
The community pays us after you move in. Nothing is added to your rent. Before we register you, we send our short renter agreement: it says we represent you and that the community pays our fee.
