The Shops at Willow Bend, which opened in 2001 as the last enclosed mall built in Texas. Most of it is set to be demolished for The Bend, a mixed-use project with shops, homes and offices. Most tenants had left by August 31, 2026, and the enclosed mall is set to close in early 2027. Arbor Hills Nature Preserve, 200 acres with paved and unpaved trails, is nearby, about 1.5 miles northwest of the mall.
03 Getting around
By car: the Dallas North Tollway runs north to Legacy and Frisco and south to Dallas; the President George Bush Turnpike is just south. Nearest rail: Knoll Trail station on the Silver Line, about 4.5 miles south.
