Addison Circle Park hosts Addison Kaboom Town!, Addison Oktoberfest and Taste Addison. Around it, Post Properties built Addison Circle between 1993 and 2016: more than 2,400 homes, from apartments to brownstones, and 625,000 square feet of offices, shops and restaurants.

A town center built on purpose
The plan
In the early 1990s, town leaders decided Addison lacked a center. Building began in 1993 on a vacant 80-acre site, which had grown to 124 acres by the time the last phase was finished in 2016.
The park
Addison Circle Park has more than 10 acres of open space: two stages, a pavilion, a pergola, display fountains and a splash pad. Between the big festivals it holds Addison After Dark and outdoor fitness classes.
The station
Addison station began as a bus transit center on June 7, 1999, built for $7.8 million. It has 300 parking spaces, eleven DART bus routes and the Addison Orbit on-demand service; Silver Line trains arrived on October 25, 2025.
