CityLine in three stops

  1. 01 · Where it is

North Richardson at the President George Bush Turnpike and US 75, around CityLine/Bush station, at 1300 East President George Bush Highway. The development spreads east of the station.

  2. 02 · What is here

CityLine, a mixed-use development of offices, apartments, shops and restaurants. State Farm leased offices here in 2012, and building began in 2013. The station also works as a park-and-ride for Bush Turnpike commuters.

The station, from park-and-ride to junction

  1. 2002

The station opens on December 9 as Bush Turnpike station, a Red Line park-and-ride with 825 spaces set under an elevated stretch of the turnpike.

  2. 2007

A further 380 spaces are added for commuters.

  3. 2016

On March 14 it is renamed CityLine/Bush, as the CityLine development fills the land to its east.

  4. 2025

On October 25 the Silver Line starts running through it, east to Plano and west to UT Dallas, Addison, Carrollton and DFW Airport.

CityLine/Bush has four side platforms and four tracks. Its lot now holds 1,193 cars, and at rush hour the Orange Line stops here too.

East of the platforms, CityLine itself covers 204 acres. The architects of its newer towers count about 2.6 million square feet of offices there and 200,000 square feet of restaurants, shops and entertainment, and State Farm runs a regional hub on the site. If you work in one of those towers, an apartment in the district can put you a walk from your desk.
