In west Plano, bordered by the Sam Rayburn Tollway to the north, the Dallas North Tollway to the east, and Legacy Drive and Headquarters Drive to the south. It was built on land around JCPenney’s headquarters and opened in June 2017. Its address is 5905 Legacy Drive, Plano, TX 75024.

03 Getting around
By car: the Dallas North Tollway runs south to Dallas and the Sam Rayburn Tollway (SH 121) west toward DFW Airport. By bus: DART routes 234 and 241, with stops on Legacy Drive and Communications Parkway. The nearest train is UT Dallas station on the Silver Line, about 7 miles southeast.

Questions about Legacy West
Windrose Avenue is the district’s main street, running from the Sam Rayburn Tollway south to Legacy Drive. Shops and restaurants line it, a 3,500-square-foot fountain sits in its plaza, and the district’s 15-story, 303-room hotel is on it too.
By car on the Dallas North Tollway,Maps: Xminutes without traffic. There is no rail station nearby.
Not within walking distance. The nearest DART rail stations are several miles away, so most residents drive on the tollways. If you need the train, we look at bus links and park-and-ride lots from each place on your list29 min.
Mostly Plano ISD. The north end, toward the Sam Rayburn Tollway, is in Frisco ISD. Check any address with the district.
Ground was broken in 2014, construction started in February 2015 and the district opened on June 2, 2017. It cost about $2 billion and holds 415,000 square feet of shops, restaurants and offices, plus the homes and the hotel.
Toyota Motor North America’s 100-acre headquarters, which broke ground in January 2015 and cost about $350 million, is next door. JCPenney, FedEx Office and NTT Data have their headquarters nearby, and JPMorgan Chase and Liberty Mutual have regional offices in the area.
