Samsung’s new US headquarters (Legacy Central)

Samsung Electronics America said on June 2, 2026, that it is moving its US headquarters from New Jersey to its campus in Plano, with the move complete by the end of 2026 (Community Impact, June 2, 2026).

Legacy West, with apartments above shops and restaurants, is about 18 min away by car.

There is no DART rail station in the Legacy area, so plan on driving; the Dallas North Tollway and the Sam Rayburn Tollway (SH 121) are the main routes in. If you are relocating with the move, tell us your start date and we time the 8 a.m. drive from every place on your list. AptViva is not affiliated with Samsung.

What we actually do in Plano

Three things happen here that a listing grid cannot do for you.

  1. 01

    CALLS

Apartment inventory changes. We call the property before presenting a place instead of publishing a stale listing page.

  2. 02

    YOUR LIST, YOUR RULES

Steering a client toward a property for our own benefit is a breach of a broker duty in Texas, not a matter of preference. If you rule an option out, tell us in writing and it stays out.

  3. 03

    DATED

Every rent on this page shows its source and date. Community rents and specials show the day we checked them; a special comes down 30 days after its last check, and a community we haven’t checked in 60 days comes off our pages.
