Nothing. Properties pay locators to fill their units, usually a share of the first month’s rent, and only once you have signed and moved in. None of it is added to your rent.

The square and the blocks around it make up the McKinney Commercial Historic District, listed on the National Register of Historic Places. On Saturday mornings the McKinney Farmers Market sets up at Chestnut Square Heritage Village.

CALLS
Apartment inventory changes. We call the property before presenting a place instead of publishing a stale listing page.

YOUR LIST, YOUR RULES
Steering a client toward a property for our own benefit is a breach of a broker duty in Texas, not a matter of preference. If you rule an option out, tell us in writing and it stays out.

DATED
Every rent on this page shows its source and date. Community rents and specials show the day we checked them; a special comes down 30 days after its last check, and a community we haven’t checked in 60 days comes off our pages.
