Mercer Crossing is a 370-acre mixed-use development in west Farmers Branch, by I-635 and Luna Road. Centurion American Development Group bought the land in 2015 and planned it with the City of Farmers Branch for more than two years.
Work began in March 2017. The plan set aside 93 of the 370 acres for urban commerce and 174 for single-family homes, all in the style the developer calls Texas Tudor, after English Tudor homes. Mercer Crossing is a planned district, not an old neighborhood.

- By car, take I-635, the LBJ Freeway, which meets I-35E east of here. The nearest rail is Farmers Branch station on the DART Green Line, near the northeast corner of I-635 and I-35E; it opened on December 6, 2010.

For groceries, H Mart is on Royal Lane and Sprouts on Marsh Lane in Dallas, and Tom Thumb is on MacArthur Boulevard in Irving.
The developer’s list has walking trails and two dog parks, and a city-owned park is planned. CareNow urgent care is at 7400 North MacArthur Boulevard in Irving.
