Lewisville neighborhoods

Lewisville has four places on the map. Old Town is the historic downtown, east of I-35E around Main Street and Mill Street, centered on Wayne Ferguson Plaza, an acre and a half of lawn, water walls and an outdoor stage, finished in 2015. The Lewisville Grand Theater, the arts center on Charles Street, opened in January 2011, and Old Town station is at 617 E. Main Street.

Hebron is the south end, around Hebron station and Hebron Parkway, next to the interchange of I-35E and the Sam Rayburn Tollway (SH 121). Vista Ridge is around The Vista, the two-level mall that opened on October 4, 1989, at Round Grove Road and I-35E, and Castle Hills is a 2,900-acre master-planned community on the east side that Lewisville annexed in November 2021.

Living in Lewisville

The lake was finished in the 1950s, and the city grew quickly after it. Lewisville Lake made Lewisville a place the whole metroplex comes to for recreation. Since June 2011, DCTA’s A-train has stopped at Highland Village/Lewisville Lake, Old Town and Hebron, running north to Denton and south to Trinity Mills, where it meets DART’s Green Line.

The historic downtown sits east of I-35E, and the Old Town station opened in 2011. A state historical marker at Hebron station recalls the Texas International Pop Festival, held on that site in 1969, which drew more than 150,000 people.
