Willow Bend is in west Plano, at Park Boulevard and the Dallas North Tollway, north of the President George Bush Turnpike. The Shops at Willow Bend opened here in 2001 as the last enclosed mall built in Texas.
Most of the mall is set to be demolished for The Bend, a mixed-use project with shops, homes and offices. Most tenants had left by August 31, 2026, and the enclosed mall is set to close in early 2027. The redevelopment plan keeps Crate & Barrel, Equinox and The District’s restaurants.
